Delta Line collection (SAFR 17216, HDC 308) is comprised of two folders containing daily passenger bulletins from the S.S. Santa Mariana on voyage number 34, 1984; a photocopied article about the vessel; a cruise line guide; and navigation map for the Straits of Magellan (dated 1983) which is housed in an oversized folder. The collection is available for research use without restriction.

SANTA MARIANA was built for Grace Line. The overall length was 547 feet with a beam of 79 feet. Gross tonnage was 14,443; net 8,189. Service speed was 20 knots and could accommodate 175 cargo containers. In addition, 119 passengers could be carried in first class accommodations. The ships was designed to operate between New York and Guayaquil, Ecuador " the principle homeward cargo being bananas.
