Description
This collections contains assorted publications about animation written and illustrated by Norman, original storyboard sketches, articles, online publicatins, photocopies, 16mm film reels, and digital photographes and audio files.
Background
Floyd E. Norman (b. 6/22/1935) is the first African American cartoon animator for Disney Studios. He was born in Santa Barbara, California in 1935 and attended the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena until he was hired by Walt Disney Productions as an animator in 1956.
