The Harold Alton Snyder photograph collection, circa 1919-1925, (SAFR 24848, P16-012) is comprised mainly of photographs taken during voyages aboard H.F. ALEXANDER (built 1914; passenger vessel). The collection has been processed to the Collection level and is open for use.
Background
Harold Alton Snyder (August 26, 1900-December 23, 1968) was born in Seattle, Washington. He served as a crewmember aboard H.F. ALEXANDER (built 1914; passenger vessel) in the early 1920s. He had two children, son Gary (1930- ) and daughter Anthea (1932-2002).
