Description
The Transportation Corps were key in the success of Operation Overlord.
Background
The invasion of Normandy (Operation Overlord) took place on June 6, 1944. It was the largest amphibious invasion in history,
and would not have been possible without a monumental coordination of logistical resources. This document lays the ground
work for that effort.
