The Associated Students of UCLA (ASUCLA) at the University of California, Los Angeles were founded in 1919. Today, the ASUCLA has evolved into a four-part organization comprised of the Undergraduate Students Association (USAC, the elected representatives of 23,000 undergraduate students), the Graduate Students Association (GSA, provides a voice in campus affairs for the almost 11,000 graduate students enrolled at UCLA), Student Media at UCLA (includes the Daily Bruin, UCLA Radio.com, the Bruin Life Yearbook, and newsmagazines including : Fem, La Gente, Nommo, Ha'Am, Pacific Ties, Al-Talib, OutWrite and many others), and Services & Enterprises (designed to meet the everyday needs of students and the campus community; includes major divisions such as the Student Union, Event Services, UCLA Restaurants, UCLA Store, UCLA Photography, and Trademarks & Licensing).
