Collection includes binders of USC's Graduate Council meeting minutes from 1916-1947 and scrapbooks of the creative arts Appoliad Committee's activities from 1927-1945.

First held in 1925, The Appoliad was a movement to stimulate creative arts at USC. The annual program showcased original contributions by students in fields of music, poetry, dance, plays, monologues, essays, and comedic and dramatic performances. The Appoliad was discontinued in 1947 due to lack of interest from the governing body who claimed that they had fulfilled the need of stimulating creativity on campus.
