Scope and Contents

Collection contains holographs; 11 letters plus some accompanying postal covers and notes. Typescript summaries provided by antiquarian bookseller. George Ladd was a medical student at Rush Medical College, Chicago, and Boston Dental College, then a doctor in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. His brother, Horace, wrote from "Madison Insane Hospital" (Mendota State Hospital), Wisconsin.
