Collection contains a manuscript produced in Paris for the Collège [or Communauté] des chirurgiens de Paris, Confrérie
de saint Côme et saint Damien. According to the antiquarian book dealer notes, "the present hand-written Statutes must have
figured in the Church or the 'House' of St.-Côme, built adjacent to the Church of St.-Côme (corner of rue de la Harpe and
former rue des Cordeliers) in 1561, and used by the maître-jurés for their gatherings and required visits with the poor
and sick."
