    Biography

    Delta Warehouse Company (DWC) was established in July 1920 and was responsible for general grain and warehouse storage. DWC was based in Stockton, CA for over 60 years before its dissolution in 1988. John Walter Schuler was a member of the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce. He served on the executive board of the DWC as well as serving as the Vice President of the Guernsey Grain Company.

    Scope and Content

    Collection includes board meeting minutes, payroll books, shares books, legal documentation, ledgers, and journals from the Delta Warehouse Company. Collection also includes personal financial records and correspondence of John Walter (J.W.) Schuler. [Parenthesized numbers at the end of entries indicate multiple items: “Stock Ledger & Journal (3)”]
