    Scope and Content of Collection

The photographs in this album document the lives of the Neill Family members along with other residents of Scotia between the years of 1908-1913. The majority of the images contain a member of the Neill family as well as friends and other townspeople. Most images are set within the town of Scotia or in the forest surrounding the town. The album is in fair condition with a worn suede cover and two loose images. One of the loose images is a portrait from the 1970s of the Cooke Family. The other image is a black and white portrait of Louis and Louise Neill. The majority of the images are black and white. Photographs are loosely organized in chronological order in an album with a portion of the images labeled and dated. In order to preserve the context in which the photographs were created and arranged, the album was left intact.
