    Biography/Administrative History

    Mrs. Seaver was the wife of Frank Roger Seaver, oil industrialist, philanthropist and founder of the Seaver Institute. In 1986 the Institute established the Seaver Center for Western History Research, and the Institute continues to operate today.

    Scope and Content of Collection

    Theater programs, periodicals, invitations and other personal papers of Blanche Ebert Seaver (1891-1994). Three photograph albums for events held in Los Angeles, California: Mrs. Seaver’s 100th birthday, 9/14/1991; Navy Ball, 5/5/1990; Navy Ball, 9/11/1992. One album of photographs published by the Percy H. Clark Co., Los Angeles, of unidentified subdivisions and the Los Angeles Country Club, undated. Newspaper obituary clipped following her death.
