Abstract: The collection consists of photographs taken by Michael Sedano at the first Festival de Flor y Canto (Festival of Flower and
Song), an event held in 1973 at the University of Southern California that featured prominent and emerging Mexican American
writers and artists speaking on their personal experiences and issues related to the Chicano Movement.
