Description
The Highway Film Service distribution records span the years circa 1977-1988 and encompass approximately 2 linear feet. The collection consists of hundreds of file cards for independent films distributed in Chicago, Illinois; Cincinnati, Ohio; Indianapolis, Indiana; Kansas City, Missouri; and Upper Marlboro, Maryland. The 5x8 tracking cards list theater names and play dates, along with the film title, number of reels, and print number. The cards are arranged alphabetically by film title.

The Highway Film Service was an American distribution company that handled 35mm theatrical films for a number of independent production companies. Highway Film Service was located in Indianapolis, Indiana in 1990.
