The collection consists of publications and recordings from Reflection Press, an artists' group operating out of Stuttgart, Germany, during the 1970s and 1980s.

Reflection Press was an independent press for artistic and artistic-political publications founded in 1968 by Albrecht d. The press operated in Stuttgart until 1988. He stated that Reflection Press was really "a fake press [and] the forgery of a publisher," preferring to think of the press as a long-term project. The press published 50 numbered and numerous other editions.
