Collection conisists of a personal note from Davis acknowledging "Yours just rec'd glad to learn that--you are getting a long
[sic] so well and if you keep it up, you will get all right." Davis comments that he will "send you the medicines by mail
this after noon[sic]." He also remarks upon receiving a letter from "Ida and Sent [sic] her some medicine I think it will
bring her out all right." Note is on the following printed letterhead: "Dr. J. M. Davis. Specialist. Female Diseases a Specialty:
Chronic Diseases, Morphine, Opium, Chloral and Tobacco Habits, Drunkenness, Fits and Insanity successfully treated."
