Scope and Content Note

Consists of photographs separated from the original P77-005 donation and assigned item numbers according to a classification scheme developed by the San Francisco Maritime Museum.

Shows rebuilding of lower Market Street after the 1906 earthquake and fire. The Ferry Building is in view with scaffolding around the clock tower. Streetcars are on Market Street. There is a large billboard advertisement for Gen. Arthur cigars. Yerba Buena Island is in the distance.
