Biographical / Historical

Jennifer Joy Wrenn (1949-), who also writes fiction under the nom de plume of Fiona Flanner, was born in San Diego to news photographer Roger Wrenn and housewife Bettie Wrenn. She "grew up or came of age" in San Francisco where her book Those Parlor Girls is based. For twenty years she has worked as a librarian with the County of Los Angeles Public Library system. Although she has spent most of her life creating multimedia art work, she has always had a penchant for writing and took frequent courses in writing throughout her adult life. She also spent a number of years as a publisher of Clothespin Fever Press with Carolyn Weathers, publishing the work of others. It has only been while in her 60s that she decided to publish her own fiction through the ebook medium. Some of her artwork has been published with blurb.com as on-demand art books.
