    Biography/Administrative History

    Orrin R. Nestos was born in Washington on December 21, 1909 and died in San Francisco on July 3, 1970.

    Scope and Content of Collection

    Two photograph albums documenting the life of Orrin Nestos who lived in Hawaii and California. Little is known of Nestos other than his birth and death dates and his place of residence in the 1940 Census. The first album includes photos of Nestos with friends and family in Honolulu around 1940. The other album is from the late 1940s and early 1950s when he was living in California. There is also one folder of loose photos with several images of female impersonators including a photo of Francis Renault. Nestos died July 3, 1970.
