Scope and Content of Collection
This album shows the construction of the Deschutes River Canyon in Oregon between 1910 and 1911. There are photographs of
railroad surveyors and surveying, campsites, and railroad construction. A note with the album says: 1 scrapbook of 115 black-and-white
photographs. Property of donor's father George A. Raven, 1877-1961. George A. Raven and his brother, Walter S. Raven, 1881-1969,
were both engineers working on the construction of the Deschutes Railroad, Oregon, 1910-1911.
