Abstract: The collection comprises microfiche copies of original material from Louis S. Bauman's personal files. Bauman (1875-1950)
was born into a German Baptist home in Pennsylvania; his father became a leader in the Progressive Brethren Movement in the
1880s and Bauman followed his example. He was ordained and pastored churches in Kansas, Illinois, Indiana, Philadelphia, PA
(1900-1908), Long Beach, CA (1913-1945) and Washington, D.C. (1948-1950).
