Conmoción and Esto No Tiene Nombre are revolutionary Latina lesbian magazines created to stimulate dialogue and creativity within the Latina lesbian community.

    Biographical/Historical note

    "Born in Villavicencio, Colombia and raised in Miami, Florida, tatiana de la tierra was a bicultural writer whose work focused on identity, sexuality, and South American memory and reality. She completed a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from the University of Texas at El Paso and a Master of Library Science from University at Buffalo. tatiana was a founder, editor, and contributor to the Latina lesbian publications Esto no Tiene Nombre, Conmoción and La telaraña."     Scope and Content

    A collection of Latina lesbian magazines donated by bi-cultural writer and activist tatiana de la tierra on December 2006. Conmoción and Esto No Tiene Nombre are revolutionary Latina lesbian magazines created to stimulate dialogue and creativity within the Latina lesbian community. This collection includes Esto no Tiene Nombre's Vol.1, No.1-4; Vol.2, No. 1,3-4; Vol.3, No. 1 and Conmoción's #1-3. The collection also includes Aztlan: A Journal of Chicano Studies (Vol. 27, No. 1), de la tierra's curriculum vitae and one magazine subscription form.
