Background
The Institute for Diversity in the Arts (IDA) + Committee on Black Performing Arts (CBPA)
is an interdisciplinary program in the humanities that involves students in the study of
culture, identity and diversity through artistic expression. Their mission is to create,
support, and advance powerful, collaborative, and transformative arts practice and arts
leadership.
Restrictions
All requests to reproduce, publish, quote from, or otherwise use collection materials must

The materials are open for research use. Audio-visual materials are not available in
