Biography/Administrative History

Anastasio Avila received the Mexican land grant, Rancho Tajuata, also known as Rancho de Los Cuervos, located in the present-day Watts district of the city of Los Angeles.

Documents of the Avilas, an early California family. Includes historical account by Carolina Avila. English and Spanish. 1824 - 1940, undated.
