Description

Geo A Merrill Was an eminent California education who helped found and direct 4 combined institution in San Francisco dedication to teaching vocational and technical arts. California School of Mechanical Arts, Wilmerding School of Mechanical Arts, the Lux Technical Institute. The Dey Endowment. He was mayor of Redwood City, President of the Redwood City Harbor Co, the Peninsula Foothill Land Co, and Guaranty Mortgage Co.
