    Biography

    William Tuttle was an American makeup artist, primarily at Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer (MGM), active in film from the 1930s through 1970s.

    The William Tuttle papers span the years 1912-1998 (bulk 1930-1990) and encompass 29 linear feet of papers and photographs and 681 pieces of production art.
