Scope and Content of Collection

This album includes personal photographs of an unidentified woman on her train trip from the Midwest to California taken in July and August of 1909. The trip began in Chicago on the Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe Railway and continued through Missouri, Kansas, Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona, California and Nevada. Other railroads include the Yosemite Valley Railroad and the Southern Pacific. Includes photographs of the Grand Canyon, Yosemite and Mariposa Grove.
