Biography

The Douris Corporation is an American motion picture distribution company established in 1996, with offices in Los Angeles, California, and Columbus, Ohio. The Douris film library includes the Raymond Rohauer collection of classic feature and short films. The company founder and chief executive is Gary Dartnall. The United Kingdom affiliate, Douris UK Ltd., is operated by Tim Lanza in Columbus. Douglas Fairbanks was an American actor active in film from 1915 to 1934. He founded his own production company in 1916 and during the 1920s starred in a number of popular films that showcased his personality, athleticism, and acting skills. Fairbanks was married to actress Mary Pickford from 1920 to 1936 and the couple reigned over Hollywood from their residence in Beverly Hills, known as Pickfair. Fairbanks and Pickford were among the co-founders of United Artists.
