Abstract: The collection includes materials on the history of water management in California, alternative resources, energy relating to water, flood control, hydrology, water quality (including desalination, sea water barrier, reclamation), and water supply and demand (including drought, conservation, irrigation). The majority of the collection is primarily drawn from Orange County agencies: Municipal Water District of Orange County, Orange County Flood Control District, and Orange County Water District. Also included are papers from the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California and a dozen other sate, federal, and independent groups.
