R. A. Herold was an architect based in Sacramento, California at the beginning of the twentieth century. He is best known
for designing Sacrament’s City Hall as well as Sacramento County’s Superior Court.
The R. A. Herold drawings of the General Hospital span 3 linear feet and are dated July 3, 1924. The collection consists of
five architectural drawings of the General Hospital’s laundry, power house and garage, in the form of reprographic copies.
Drawings include: first floor plan, roof plan, plot plan, sections, and elevations.
