Scope and content:

The President's Office Papers include materials that originated from the Pomona College President's Office and spans the years 1897 to 1984. The papers cover a wide range of Pomona College affairs and are organized into broad series that include a focus on the academic departments of the College, the Pomona College Board of Trustees and its members, events and conferences hosted on campus, and College administrative and advancement materials. Providing background of Pomona College's leadership and operational activities during this period, the President's Office Papers include annual reports from faculty and departmental chairs, materials related to individual academic departments and student exchange programs, board of trustee meeting minutes, committee reports, event planning and promotional materials, campus building files, as well as records related to Pomona College faculty, alumni, donors, scholarships, and student aid.
