    Corporal Jay L. Baggett, United States Army served in Service Company, "the Breakers," 117th Infantry, 30th Division. His training was in Georgia and he served in Germany.

    Content Description

    This collection contains 120 correspondence from Cpl. Jay L. Baggett, USA to his mother, Mrs. Sidney Baggett, and family during the Second World War. Also included are one photograph of Cpl. Baggett in uniform, the 1942-1943 yearbook for "The Breakers," 117th Infantry, Thirtieth Infantry Division, USA, and one Christmas menu from 1943 for Service Company 117th Infantry at Camp Atterbury, Indiana.
    The front pages of the yearbook are personalized for PFC Jay L. Baggett (he was a Private First Class at the time).
