Biography/Administrative History
The Oregon Central & Eastern Railroad Company, incorporated April 12, 1895 to acquire (through foreclosure and reorganization)
on April 13, 1895 the property of the Willamette Valley & Coast and Oregon Pacific. The OC&E constructed no railroad; it
was operated by its own organization from date acquired until sold to the Corvallis & Eastern on January 24, 1898. During
its corporate existence it abandoned 1.06 miles of track from Hoover east. The OC&E was dissolved on January 20, 1906. [Guy

Accounting vouchers from 1896 through 1898 from before incorporation of the Oregon Central & Eastern Railroad in 1895 until
its sale in 1898 to Corvallis & Eastern.
