    Abstract: This collection contains photographs taken by Robert Bingham. It includes negatives, a few loose photographs, and photographs encased in four different albums. There is also a book titled, The Effects of Atomic Bombs on Health and Medical Services in Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

    Biography

    Riverside physician Dr. Robert Bingham was a nationally known camera collector and founder of the Western Photographic Collectors Association, whose donation began the formation and founding of the California Museum of Photography.

    The collection contains 882 negatives, 4 photographic albums, 11 photographs, and one book. The images include family photographs, pictures from the University of Redlands, and travel photographs, especially from the country of Mexico.
