This collection contains correspondence written by Sergeant George V. Tudor, United States Marine Corps Reserve during the Second World War. The collection also contains postmortem correspondence and other papers.
Background
Sgt. George Tudor, USMCR was born November 15, 1915 in Chicago, Illinois. He was killed in action in Guam, Marianas Islands July 22, 1944, while with Company C, 1st Battalion, 22nd Marines, 1st Provisional Marine Brigade.
