Rosario Castellanos (1925-1974) was a Mexican poet and author known for her work concerning cultural and gender oppression.
Her writings influenced Mexican feminist theory and cultural study. She served as the Mexican ambassador to Israel for the
three years preceding her death.
Collection consists of materials associated with the life and career of writer and diplomat Rosario Castellanos. Materials
include published poetry, essays, novels, clippings, notes and correspondence, biographical essays, and other writings about
Castellanos.
