Folder 01 - Pictures

Physical Description: Folder contains 65 photographs of Harry Haw, family, and friends.

Folder 02 - Individual Flight Records

Physical Description: Folder contains the individual flight records of Haw from the War Department Air Corps from January 1931-June 1933, one set being his flight time as an observer or passenger and the other being his flight time as a passenger and a pilot.

Folder 03 - First Provisional Training Group U.S. Army AIR-RES Active Duty

Physical Description: Folder contains a packet that includes photographs of the group with, names, assignments and other information about the group.

Folder 04 - Military Documents

Physical Description: Folder contains correspondence from the War Department and other military sources. Other items included in the folder are other military documents concerning Haws military service from 1929-1941.

Folder 05 - Flight School Curriculum

Physical Description: Folder contains the curriculum use at Gossport School.

Folder 06 – Manuscript “Has anybody here seen a sailplane?”

Physical Description: Folder contains a three-page manuscript of an article about sailplanes. The document is not labeled, but the manuscript discusses sailplanes, gliders, some history and materials used to construct them. It also mentions three types of gliders used in San Diego during the author’s time, most likely the early 1900s.

Physical Description: Folder contains newspaper clippings about Haw and the 514th Observation Squadron.

Folder 08 - Correspondence

Physical Description: Folder contains letters from various sources related to Haw’s life outside of the military. Department of Commerce Aeronautics Branch; National Finance Corporation. 1930-1935.

Folder 09 - Financial Document

Physical Description: Folder contains a document from Bowlus Sailplane Company regarding Haw’s pay from the company.
