Description
Jackson Burton Wilcox (b. June 16, 1918 – d. November 14, 2013) was an American Baptist pastor, artist, writer, and editor with a ministry career spanning over six decades. He served in eleven churches, including St. Paul, MN; Aberdeen, WA; Chowchilla, CA; Santa Cruz, CA; Lindsay, CA; Hollywood, CA; Panorama City, CA; and Quartz Hill, CA. His ministry included illustrating published church newsletters and the underground newspaper Hollywood Free Paper for the Jesus People Movement with his distinctive cartoons and drawings.
