Scope and Content
Original fliers and posters advertising punk rock concerts. performance art, film, or other arts events, primarily in the
San Francisco Bay Area. Represented are performances by Iggy Pop, Karen Finley, Black Flag, Survival Research Laboratories,
Carolina Rainbow, Reducers, Wild Nixons and numerous others. Venues advertised include Mabuhay Gardens and Savoy Tivoli (San
Francisco) and Pauley Ballroom (Berkeley) among many others.
Separated Materials
Fourteen 45 rpm records transferred to Bancroft Library Audio-Visual Collections and cataloged as: Punk rock 45s from the
San Francisco Bay Area punk fliers and posters collection (Phonodisc 782 A).
