Samuel Bernard Solter (May 30, 1920- May 4, 2016) was an architectural illustrator and model-builder in the California Office
of Architecture and Construction. He was born in Kerhonkson, New York to Harry and Sadie Solomiansky, Jewish immgrants from
Eastern Europe. He moved to Los Angeles as a child where his family owned a grocery store and his father also worked in carpentry.
