Series I, Tom Reilly Interviews, consists of interviews conducted or supervised by Dr. Tom Reilly of the CSUN Journalism Department. Students of Dr. Reilly conducted several of these interviews for course credit. Interviews with several notable journalists are included, such as Herb Krouch, Clete Roberts, and Ferdinand Mendenhall. Materials include physical and digitized recordings, transcripts, and photographs taken by two of the interviewees, Ralph Samuels and David F. "Mique" Smith. All materials are arranged alphabetically by the last name of the person being interviewed. Note that transcripts in this series were completed in 2011.
Series II, Stephanie Bluestein Interviews, consists of interviews conducted for course credit by students enrolled in the CSUN freshman orientation class, University 100, and supervised by CSUN journalism professor Stephanie Bluestein. Interviews were conducted with retired local-area journalists via Zoom in the fall of 2020 and 2021, and are arranged alphabetically by the last name of the person being interviewed.
