Description
Four volumes describe artifacts in the Joel Sabin Griswold Memorial Collection, part of the Southwest Museum collection. It
includes descriptions and hand-drawn illustrations for baskets, stone fragments, blankets, arrowheads, beadwork and stone
jewelry, clothing and silver jewelry that comprise the Collection. Volume 1 also includes itineraries of road trips made to
"Indian Country" and other stops from 1927-1948. Trips were made with Joel S.G. between 1927-1936 and with others from 1936-1948,
with a stop in excursions from 1943-1945 during World War II.
