Abstract: 13-page deed of trust dated October 1, 1892, between the San Francisco and Atlantic Railway Company and the California Title
Insurance and Trust Company of San Francisco. Volume is leatherbound and in a leather case. Includes seals and signatures
of Frederick Homer, President and S. M. Holmes, Secretary of the SF&A Railway. This railroad, never built, was to run between
San Francisco and Los Angeles, passing through Alameda, Contra Costa, San Joaquin, Stanislaus, Merced, Fresno, Tulare, Kern
and Los Angeles Counties with branches to Merced, Fresno and Bakersfield.
