This collection contains two letters from CCM Clarence Joseph Adams, USN to his family during the Second World War.
Background
Chief Carpenter's Mate Clarence Joseph "C.J." Adams, United States Navy served aboard the USS Bon Homme Richard (CV-31) during the Second World War. His daughter, Sally Ann, was born in April 1945 just before these letters were sent.
