Description
Virginia Tucker (1947-2019) is a UCI alumna, class of 1969. The collection consists of Tucker's admission and matriculation materials such as her applicant information letter from Clark Kerr, admission letter, Statement of Intention to Register, Certificate of Undergraduate Admission for the Fall Term 1965, several Honors at entrance letters and certificate, transcripts, and Verification of Degree. General materials include UCI student directory, letters that document early student activities such as establishing student government, promotional materials including flyers, invitations and cards for several events, and twenty-three cancelled Bank of America checks with a UCI logo written to the University Bookstore, Regents of University of California, and others, from Tucker. Graduation and post baccalaureate materials include a graduation photograph, commencement and convocation programs, class reunion invitations, and newsletter from the Alumni Association. Objects include a protective book cover from the UCI Bookstore, a Campus Guide name badge with anteater in Playboy bunny ears, black graduation tassel, button (UCI ZOT), and keychain of Anteater with Playboy bunny ears.
