    Scope and Content of Collection

    This album contains photographs of the 1910 construction of the "I" Street Bridge crossing the Sacramento River. Many of the photographs have the stamp showing "SP Co. received Jun. 20, 1911 Office of the Asst. Chief Engineer." This is an extremely valuable photographic account of the building of the I Street Bridge. [Album 138]
