Background
Remey studied architecture at Cornell, 1893-1896, and at the Ecole des Beaux Arts (Paris), 1896-1903; he taught architecture
at George Washington University, 1906-1910. He was particularly interested in oriental architecture. Author of several works
about the Baha'i faith, he designed the Baha'i temple on Mount Carmel.
