policies of the Nixon White House.
Background
The White House Press Office during the Presidency of Richard Nixon was responsible for daily communication with the White
House press corps. Ronald L. Ziegler was the Press Secretary to the President for Nixon's entire term in office from January
1969 to August 1974 and Gerald Warren served as the Deputy Press Secretary. The office held daily briefings for the press
and produced the White House’s press releases.
