1897-1939. There are 4 unique photographic images in 5 physical forms (black-and-white photographic prints).
- Item 1. Supplies being transported on a railroad track on the Farallon Islands, 1926 December 15. 1 black-and-white photographic print, 8 x 10 in. A group of five men are pulling the cart and two men are pushing the cart from behind. Numerous boxes are loaded on the cart, some with labels for Hills Bros. coffee, Ghirardelli chocolate, and Gold Medal pasteurized butter. Copied from San Francisco Public Library negative no. 5533, photo ID no. AAC-9701.
- Item 2. Reporter Caroline Clifton being hoisted up on an improvised bosun's chair at the Farallon Islands, 1939 January 28. Three men are handling the lines as Caroline is lifted into the air.
