Howard R. Cohen was an American screenwriter and director active in film and television from 1972 to
1992. His theatrical films were generally low-budget productions, and his television films were primarily
animated series. He wrote nine films and directed three for producer Roger Corman. He also collaborated
with Janusz Kaminski, producer and director Martin Scorsese, and director Jonathan Demme.
