Title:

This shaft was erected to Gen. H. Hussefooss in Calvary Cemetery. He was one of the first chiefs of the San Francisco Volenteer [sic] Fire Dept. The monument was erected by Monumental Engine Co. #6 of which he was a member and by the Exempt Firemen.
